Fragile

Sometimes walking away has nothing to do with weakness, and everything to do with strength. We walk away not because we want others to realize our worth and value, but because we finally realize our own. It takes a lot of courage to walk away from someone you loved and wanted so much in your life. Accepting that things are not working as we wish they should be. We can stay if we want to, but the staying would mean that the longer we stay the more pain we feel, thinking that we’ll get used to it and eventually will just fade. But the truth is we choose the one that hurts so much without even realizing that we make our own misery. We stab ourselves with our own knife, making every pain be felt in our flesh as the blood drowns you. Leaving an open wound, ache resides everywhere. Will leave a mark and forever be haunting.
